Why Maylyn & Co.
Why Maylyn & Co.
(aka, why your sleepwear deserves a glow-up)
You could shop anywhere. So why us?
Because we’re not just about cute PJ sets and dreamy bedding (though, yes, we nail that too). We’re about wellness—for your body, your sleep, the planet, and the people who make your clothes.
We care about your wellness
Sleep is a love language. We’re here to help you speak it fluently.
From ultra-soft, breathable fabrics to plant-infused dyes and skin-friendly materials, everything we make is designed to support your wind-down, your skin, and your nervous system.
Our pieces aren’t just for sleeping—they’re for stretching, journaling, lounging, reading, snacking, snuggling, and staying in when you “accidentally” forget to RSVP.
No toxins, no irritating synthetics, no stress. Just feel-good sleepwear that makes your bedtime routine feel like self-care.
We care about people
Behind every stitch is a person who matters.
We work closely with a small, ethical production team in Northern Persia where transparency, care, and fairness are a daily thing—not just a PR statement.
✨ Living wages? Non-negotiable.
✨ Interest-free loans for workers? They do that.
✨ Fair working hours, safe environments, and support for families? Absolutely.
✨ Mental health? It's a priority—not an afterthought.
We treat everyone in our supply chain like family—because they are. From women of color and immigrants to LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities, our workplace embraces diversity at every level.
We care about the planet
We’re low-waste, plastic-avoiding, ocean-freight fans. Our materials are sustainably sourced, our packaging is fully recyclable (down to the soy-based ink and vegan glue), and our dye processes are infused with plants—not petroleum.
Instead of traditional silk (which, fun fact, involves boiling silkworms alive), we offer vegan, cruelty-free alternatives made from organic lotus and plant-based fabrics. Our pieces are made to last and leave the softest footprint possible.
We also use recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) in place of polyester. It’s made from plastic bottles, saves water and energy, and keeps waste out of the ocean. Bonus: it still feels dreamy AF on your skin.

We care about doing it differently
We’re woman-founded, women-run, and community-powered.
Our roots are in Canada. Our fabrics come from Persian farms using traditional Shomali techniques. Our values? Inclusivity, integrity, and intentionality—always.
We believe that your sleepwear should feel as good as it looks, that sustainability doesn’t have to be beige, and that people and planet should never be sacrificed for a sale.
We care about not overdoing it
We only make what we believe in. No fast fashion, no overproduction, and no landfill-destined leftovers. Imperfect items are either donated to local women’s shelters or offered in our annual Spring Cleaning Sale to reduce waste.
